12 years ago, on October 1, 2002, in Moscow, on the basis of the Ninth District of the MCS "Mosenergo", the High-Voltage Cable Networks enterprise was organized to service 110-220 kV cable lines in Moscow and the Moscow region. Since 2005, High-Voltage Cable Networks (VKS) has been a branch of the Moscow United Electric Grid Company.
On October 1, 2007, 7 years ago, by a joint decision of RAO "UES of Russia", the government of Moscow and IDGC Holding, the Central Electric Networks (CES) - a branch of JSC "MOESK", were formed, uniting all substations and overhead power lines with a voltage of 35 - 220 kV of the capital, the operation of which began in 1922.
High voltage cable networks provides reliable and high-quality power supply to consumers in the city of Moscow and the nearest suburbs. The amount of electricity passed through the cable lines operated by the VCS is more than 80 percent of the electric energy transport in Moscow.
The VKS team carries out a complex of maintenance works, repairs of high-voltage, low-voltage and control cables, technological equipment, equipment for telemechanics and telemetry, ventilation and water removal, devices electrochemical protection from corrosion. These measures ensure reliable operation of the high-voltage cable network and stable transmission of large power flows. The area of responsibility of the VCS includes more than 930 km of high-voltage cable power lines 110-500 kV, which interconnect more than 150 power centers.
VCS is implementing an investment program aimed at improving the reliability of power supply and eliminating the shortage of power in the Moscow region. Taking into account the world experience in the development of the cable industry, videoconferencing is implementing innovative solutions, using new types of cable and cable accessories.
The social policy in the HQS is aimed at increasing the efficiency of the work of employees, for greater team cohesion, cultural and sports events are held. Employees of the branch actively participate in all charity events, competitions and other socially-oriented projects of JSC "MOESK".
Branch Director Oleg Chaus congratulated employees and veterans of High-Voltage Cable Networks on their birthday! Oleg Petrovich emphasized that "the staff of the branch, which consists of more than 500 people, is ready to continue to provide guaranteed and safe power supply to consumers in the Moscow region, implementing energy-saving solutions, innovative approaches and new technologies."
Branch Central electrical networks serves an area of 1,081 km & # 178 ;, on which over 11 million people live . The CES operates 113 substations, 44 transition points and 623 km of overhead lines 35 - 220 kV within the territorial boundaries of the city of Moscow.
All these years, the work of the CES has been based on three main tasks - the safety, quality and reliability of electricity supply to consumers. Today, the branch employs 1261 people. There are 10 district high-voltage electrical networks that are successfully operating (according to the number of administrative districts in Moscow). More than 40 employees of the branch have devoted decades to the energy industry professional life. Their work is encouraged by state and industry awards. Actively replenishes the ranks of the staff of the branch and the younger generation.
Vsevolod Ivanov, director of the Central Electric Grids, congratulated the team with gratitude and wished the power engineers health, great personal happiness and trouble-free work.
