How to cook braised pork ribs with onions in a pan

- We disassemble the meat into ribs, cut off excess fat (it is better to keep it to a minimum), rinse and dry with paper towels. Transfer to a deep bowl.
- Put all the spices in a small bowl: suneli hops, sweet paprika, ground black pepper, oregano and basil, mix them.
- Sprinkle pork ribs with spices, add vegetable oil, lemon juice, natural honey and salt to taste.
- Mix everything thoroughly with your hands, cover the bowl with cling film and put it in the refrigerator. You can put it on for half an hour, or you can leave it all night: as time allows.
- We put a frying pan on the stove, pour quite a bit of vegetable oil on it: we will fry it almost in a dry frying pan.
- Fry the ribs over high heat, on both sides, until golden brown.
- We shift into a deep container suitable for stewing. And put the next batch on the pan.
- Advice. Due to the fact that honey is included in the marinade, the ribs are fried very quickly: do not go far from the stove.
- After all the meat is fried, pour a little water into the pan, and then pour it into the pan with the ribs.
- Fill the fried ribs with water: about ¾.
- Peel two large heads of onions (or to taste), cut into thin quarter rings.
- We send chopped onion, bay leaves and coriander grains to the pan with meat.
- Cover with a lid, bring the contents to a boil, reduce the heat to a minimum. Simmer until tender: one to two hours.
- At the end of cooking, add any greens to taste, immediately turn off the stove.
