My mom's main responsibility is cooking. She always buys only fresh and healthy products which don't contain any chemical activities. I think that home-made meals are the tastiest. Besides, my mom does the laundry and vacuums the carpet. Twice a year she does spring and fall cleaning. She cleans the windows, arranges lots of items in the wardrobe and paints the ceiling.

My family members
Our family is quite large. There are five people in it: my mother, my father, my grandmother, my younger sister and me. I think it's fair that each member of the family has their own household chores.
Mother
My mom usually goes shopping because only she knows what products we need. She buys bread, milk and vegetables every day, and if there is too much to carry home from the supermarket, my sister goes with her mother and helps her carry the bags. After that, mom cooks lunch and dinner. We all love the way she cooks. She especially succeeds in meat with vegetables.
My responsibilities
My job is to wash the dishes after meals. I also dust and sweep the floor in my room every day. My sister takes out the trash and keeps her room in order.
Grandmother
My grandmother doesn't have much to do around the house. She meets my sister every evening from school. In addition, she knits socks for all of us and bakes delicious pies and cakes, and also makes jam from strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.
Dad
My father works a lot and gets very tired at the end of the working day. Therefore, his duties include only walking the dog.
Weekends
On Saturdays the whole family takes part in cleaning the apartment. My father cleans the carpet with a vacuum cleaner. Mom does laundry washing machine underwear. I mop the floors and dust as usual. Grandma is cooking Saturday dinner. After cleaning, we set the table and have lunch. For dessert we have tea with delicious cake baked by my grandmother. We then discuss the events of this week for a while. Then we go to rest, and everyone does what he wants.
Conclusion
In general, I think doing housework is very important because it helps us become more responsible. Everyone in our family takes their household duties very seriously.
