They are born when, during the formation stage, an egg splits into two identical halves and is fertilized by two spermatozoa. Chance plays a lesser role in the appearance of fraternal twins. One thing is certain: they are more often born in families where there is a predisposition to this. A study of 4,000 Mormon mothers found that if they themselves were twins, they had a one in 58 chance of having twins. Those with no twins in their ancestry had just over one in a hundred chance of getting twins. A woman is more likely to have twins if she becomes pregnant soon after she stops using birth control pills, since at the same time, gonadotropin is produced in large quantities - a hormone that stimulates ovulation. One of the latest and most remarkable discoveries about twins is the fact that more embryos are produced initially than children are eventually produced. For some reason, I felt very sorry for my newborn children, I wanted to go home to my eldest son, and it seemed in the early days that I would never love them as much. Of course, I was wrong.

From nine in the morning until ten in the evening I am at home, mostly alone with three children. My parents come on weekdays every day for a couple of hours. At this time I am cooking. Cleaning, thank God, my husband shares with me, I was lucky with him.
I go for a walk with the children in turn: either with the twins, and someone stays at home with the older one, or with Artem. The mother-in-law sometimes walks with the first-born. In general, I don’t go out alone with three, and sometimes I have to sit at home for two or three days without getting out.
My day is a whirlwind of diapers, bottles, endless pity and kissers, first one, then the other, then the third. It very rarely happens that all three of us yell, and not just yell, but throughout the day they take turns being capricious without ceasing. And when it's out of turn, I sometimes go crazy. And the older one gets the most (it’s useless for the younger ones to say something): I can break loose and scream. Naturally, it’s only worse for me later, the feeling of guilt covers almost instantly. Therefore, I try, as soon as possible, to go to the kitchen or to the bath to calm down. Yes, they’ll scream an extra couple of minutes there, but it’s better than me, in a rage, inaccurately taking someone or yelling.
I'm not going to reassure anyone, it's hard. Mostly moral. But there is one good news for those who are just about to become large family- you get used to everything! After a couple of months, everything is already going smoothly, and you begin to forget that it was once different. You stop noticing something, you don’t hear something, you don’t pay attention to something. For example, if the elder went to make a mess in the kitchen, and at that time I spoon-feed the twins and try not to get anyone dirty so that I don’t have to change clothes later, then I’ll just put up with the fact that I have to clean the kitchen. At such moments, you already stop being nervous. The child is busy, the child is playing - well, that's good.
There is very little time for yourself. I dye my hair, for example, or I take a shower only at night, when everyone is asleep. Probably, I really want to believe in it, I can relax a little when the children grow up and start playing threesome.

At 30 weeks, I went to one diagnostic center to see a hematologist, where I was sent for an ultrasound scan. The doctors were shocked because I almost gave birth there. Before the birth itself, I gave myself the installation that I could handle it for the sake of the girls, I would succeed. And so it happened: as if I knew everything in advance, my roommate even asked me for help with her one child. The babies were born at 37 weeks naturally, doctors say, very quickly. They were only small, they gained weight for a week.
Twins first birthday
Until the age of six months, girls, my biggest problem was to endure and give birth to them healthy. The rest was very simple: they only ate and slept. Now, after a year, the most interesting begins: my girls learn the world. Try, have time for each! They fight: although you buy the same toys and in general everything is equally divided, they cannot share! But it seems to me that this time will pass now, they will become older, and they will play well with each other and help their mother!
We all take turns, I always repeat to them: “You are not alone, you have a sister, you need to wait.” And if in general, then we can in the evenings, when we put the children to bed, watch TV shows with my husband or arrange romantic evening. I never forgot about myself: I always take care of myself, and my husband helps me with this - he lets me go for a manicure and shopping. Our dad can also handle the little ones himself.
My daughters are so different. Every time I thank God that I have two of them: it is so interesting and touching - they have been together since the womb.
