How automatic tribute boiler works. How to turn on and turn off the heating boiler. Chimney Requirements
This article is about how to turn on the Dani boiler with different gas valves.
With the advent of the autumn-winter period, most people are looking for a way to warm up and warm their home. Most of of people uses a gas boiler for these purposes. After long period not using the boiler or at the first meeting with a gas boiler, many people forget or do not know how to start the boiler. Many also do not know what to do if the boiler goes out or it does not light up at all. But the gas boiler does not light up, most likely due to the incorrect inclusion of it. It also happened to us. In our apartment there is a Dani parapet gas boiler. And I decided to give you a little instruction on how to start gas boiler Dani to help you.
Before turning on the Dani gas boiler, it is necessary to ventilate the room for at least 15 minutes.
Subsequence inclusion apparatus (boiler)with gas valve "HONEYWELL»
1. Open the appliance (boiler) door. Make sure that the control knob is in position (appliance (boiler) switched off). Open the valve on the gas pipeline in front of the apparatus (boiler).
2. Turn the control knob all the way (counterclockwise) to the ignition position and press down, hold it pressed for 5-10 s (the holding time required to expel air from the pilot burner tube), and turn further, without releasing the knob, to the middle position (there should be a click). If the pilot burner ignites, then it is necessary to hold the control knob pressed for at least 15 seconds and slowly release it. Then turn the control knob to the position (device (boiler) on) to ignite the burner, while the flame on the pilot burner should not go out.
3. The pilot burner may not ignite until the gas pressure expels air from the pilot tube. If the flame goes out, repeat the operation after at least 1 minute. If for some reason the burner does not ignite and the pilot burner goes out, re-ignite not earlier than after 5 minutes.
4. The temperature of the heat carrier in the apparatus (boiler) is regulated by turning the temperature adjustment knob to position 1-7. Position 7 approximately corresponds to a temperature of 90 ° C.

1. Open the appliance (boiler) door. Make sure that the control and temperature adjustment knob (control knob) is in the (appliance (boiler) off) position. Open the tap on the gas pipeline in front of the machine.
2. Turn the control knob counterclockwise to the piezo ignition position.
3. Press the control knob all the way and without releasing it, press the piezo ignition button until it clicks. keep the control knob pressed for 5-10 seconds.
4. Release the control knob and check for flame on the pilot (pilot) burner
5. If there is no flame, repeat the steps, increasing the time the control knob is pressed.
6. The temperature of the heat carrier in the apparatus (boiler) is regulated by turning the control knob to position 1-7. Position 7 roughly corresponds to – temperature 90°С.

ATTENTION! Before igniting the apparatus (boiler), check that the main burner tap is closed
1. Open the door of the apparatus (boiler) and, after making sure that valve 3 in front of the burner is closed, open the valve on the gas pipeline in front of the apparatus (boiler).
2. Press start button 1 to the stop and, while holding it, press the piezo ignition button 2 until it clicks. The pilot burner may not ignite until the gas pressure expels air from the pilot burner tube. In this case, press the piezo ignition button several times without releasing button 1 until the pilot burner is completely ignited.
3. After 30 seconds (counting from the moment when the pilot burner flame appeared), release the start button, while the pilot burner flame should not go out. If the flame goes out, repeat the operation, not earlier than after 5 minutes.

4. Open the burner tap 3 by slowly turning the tap handle 90° counterclockwise (the tap handle must be parallel to the gas pipe). The main burner should light up. If for some reason the burner did not ignite, but the pilot burner went out, then it is necessary to close the burner valve 3 and repeat the operations again, but not earlier than after 5 minutes.
5. By turning the temperature adjustment knob 4, set the desired heating medium heating temperature in the apparatus (boiler). Control the heating using the temperature indicator 1. The temperature of the heat carrier in the apparatus (boiler) is regulated by turning the control knob to position from A to E. Position E approximately corresponds to a temperature of 90ºС of the heat carrier in the capacitive heat exchanger. Mark 5, corresponding to the set temperature position on the temperature adjustment knob, must match mark 6 on the gas valve body.
Thank you all warmly.
The use of gas boilers in cottages and private homes is an economical way to heat a home. Gas has a lower consumption and cost than electricity, and is much more convenient to deliver than solid fuels. The most common at the moment are floor models, such as Conord (only this type is produced). Wall-mounted ones, for example, "Danko" (this manufacturer produces both types of structures), are also firmly in operation.
Note! The main problem in the operation of gas boilers is the correct start.
Depending on the manufacturer and model, the device has a certain type of automation that controls the entire combustion process, as well as its characteristics and, accordingly, features in operation and certain rules when trying to ignite the boiler.
"Conord"
The main characteristics observed in the entire model range:
- the manufacturer produces boilers exclusively for outdoor use, so any model of this company has a powerful casing of a fairly large size. It is protected by a layer of enamel, which prevents damage to the metal from moisture;
- since the manufacturer is domestic, the cost of its products is somewhat lower than that of other brands;
- coefficient useful action of all boilers is on average 90%;
- the body and the main components of the structure are made of steel sheets, the thickness of which is about 3 mm;
- automation, which provides control over gas combustion and safety of work, requires the boiler to be connected to the power supply.
The model range is quite wide, each model in it has various additional design elements. For example, there is an option for sale with a supply warm water. It is equipped with automatic thermo-hydraulic type. It requires a permanent, stable network connection to function. The fuel supply is regulated by a thermostat: when the temperature sensor reads the required value, gas access to the main burner is blocked.
Note! High-quality automation ensures minimal deviations of the temperature in the room from the set one.
The productivity of the heating system is increased with the help of a powerful burner when it is correct installation. Only in this way is a balanced mixture of gas and air obtained. Good thermal insulation of the boiler also improves the quality of work, especially the chamber in which combustion occurs. Low pressure will not interfere with the operation of the unit of this brand. Thanks to all this, "Conord" allows you to bask even in the most severe frosts.
Even the boilers of this brand note the presence of a good multi-level security system:
- smoke detector. It cuts off the gas if there is no traction. It also does not allow interrupting the operation of the burner during strong gusts of wind, in which the air moves in the opposite direction ("reverse draft");
- temperature sensors. Shut off the gas when the temperature approaches the set limit;
- flame sensor. Interrupts the gas supply if there is no fire on the burner.
To know what other features of the design and operation are, you must be able to decipher the marking of this brand. For example, KSts-GV-12 means that:
- this is a boiler (letter K);
- made of steel ©;
- the combustion chamber cylindrical shape(letter C);
- gas serves as fuel for it (this can be found by the next letter D);
- "HW" means the presence of hot water supply;
- the numbers at the end indicate the maximum power output.
Important! The required power for heating is calculated by the amount of area. So, 1 kW of power is enough to maintain the desired temperature in a room of 10 m², while the height should not be more than 2.5 m.
"Danko"
This foreign manufacturer has already gained popularity in European countries and gradually moved to Russia. Comparatively low price in combination with quality, good efficiency and aesthetics create a good advertisement for it. Another advantage is the release of wall and even floor models that have modest dimensions. This makes "Danko" indispensable assistant in rooms with small sizes (bathrooms and bathrooms, miniature kitchens). It will not steal precious space and will fit into almost any interior.
For Russian users, there are a number of special advantages of this manufacturer over others:
- despite the fact that the units are not produced in the Russian Federation, they are perfectly adapted for use with Russian pipes and batteries (even old cast-iron radiators do not need to be changed);
- the boiler will not have problems when working with Russian gas;
- not afraid of the harsh climate of Russia, it is possible to start it even in severe frosts;
- the operation of the boiler is silent, which makes it indispensable in residential buildings with poor sound insulation;
- "Danko" can be used in systems where water circulation is not forced. That is, this boiler does not require the mandatory presence of a pump, which makes the heating system autonomous in relation to the power grid.
Lack of heating systems"Danko" has only one in all models that need to be hung on the wall - horizontal chimneys are installed. They are quite vulnerable to strong wind gusts. Also, Danko wall modifications require more attention and care (especially frequent and thorough cleaning) with less power.
Note! floor standing due to over high level noise has to be installed in special rooms or corridors. But they are not so whimsical.
Basic inclusion rules
The correct switching on of the device must first of all comply with the safety regulations. They are the same for both Danko and Conord:
- children cannot be trusted to turn on the boiler;
- it is forbidden to light devices for which the automation does not work or does not work correctly;
- if a leak is suspected, do not try to ignite the unit or check the place of the leak with fire;
- without draft in the chimney, it is impossible to light the burner;
- it is forbidden to turn on heating without water inside the system;
- during ignition and subsequent operation of the boiler, it is forbidden to keep flammable objects nearby;
- the temperature of the water in the system during operation should not exceed 90°C.
How to turn on a gas boiler
The main differences in the switching methods do not depend on the design of the boilers themselves, but on the type of automation that is installed in them.
Note! That is, even different models from different manufacturers can be switched on in the same way if they have the same automation system.
Boiler "Danko": how to turn it on and off correctly
Basically, the instruction on how to turn on the Danko gas boiler boils down to the following algorithm:
- Checking that the boiler is turned off (the thermostat knob should show ignition).
- Next, you need to open the tap in front of the boiler.
- The ignition button must be pressed and held in this position for a while.
- With the second hand, you need to make several clicks on the ignition button (until the gas in the burner ignites).
- After ignition, the ignition button must be held for about 10 seconds.
- After that, you need to make sure that the burner is still on.
- Adjust by turning the thermostat knob.
Important! If the burner suddenly goes out, then you need to repeat attempts to ignite the boiler after 3 minutes. or more.
Switching off is done by turning the thermostat knob and closing the tap in front of the boiler.
Turning on the boiler "Conord"
You can ignite the gas in the burner of this boiler using a semi-automatic method. How to do it:
- The regulator should take the extreme position.
- Then you need to drown the wheel at the bottom for a period of 5 to 6 seconds. At this time, the gas supply to the chamber begins.
- When the ignition button is pressed, the piezoelectric element is activated, which ignites the mixture.
- After the appearance of fire, you need to hold the wheel in the lower position a little more (about 10 seconds).
- Next, you need to start setting the desired temperature.
Competent maintenance of the boiler, performed regularly, will help keep it in working condition for a long time and avoid various accidents and accidents. Otherwise, the unit may break down even in the first year of operation. Performing several operations will prevent the following outcome of events:
- even during normal operation of the boiler, you need to contact one of the organizations that carry out work in this area, so that the master inspects the device for gas and water leaks, the condition of the sensors and the chimney, and, if necessary, makes repairs;
- it is always necessary to control the water pressure inside or at the outlet of the system. If it falls below 0.8 bar, then water must be added;
- water is usually added to the system directly through the boiler, where there is a special tap. In this case, the pressure of the added water must be greater than the pressure of the water from the boiler. The refilled water should only be cold (up to 35°C).
Note! To spend winter evenings warm and comfortable, you need to properly care for your boiler, as well as be able to kindle it.
Depending on the model and manufacturer, this process will be slightly different due to design differences. It is possible to clarify this in the instructions that came with the device.
- turn the thermostat knob counterclockwise to align the asterisk icons on the panel knobs;
- gently press the thermostat knob in the axial direction until it stops and hold it;
- keep holding the thermostat knob down for at least 10 seconds. (until the ignition burner goes out when it is released);

- to completely turn off the gas supply, turn the knob to the “closed” position (white dot).
Boilers Danko, Ross and Dani - Answers from experts to user questions
Question:
There is a Danko boiler with EUROSIT 630 automation. It is impossible to ignite the burner, when the control handle is released, the igniter goes out and the igniter flame is small. What can be done?
Answer:
Clean the igniter.
Question:
Boiler Danko 24LK. When turned on, there is a hum of 1 minute, if more than the main igniter is completely closed. What is the reason?
Answer:
Dust in the burners, soot in the exhaust gas passage of the heat exchanger.
Question:
I have a Danko boiler with KARE automatics. Periodically (at different times, about once a week), it stops starting automatically, it burns on the wick and that's it. After you start it manually, the unit automatically starts and works normally until a certain time. What could be the reason for the automatic non-starting of the boiler, tell me please?
Starting the boiler "manually" I do this:
I turn the temperature control knob counterclockwise until it stops.
I open the gas valve.
I press the start button of the thermo-electromagnetic valve, and while holding it, I press the piezo button periodically until the igniter starts to burn.
I slowly release the start button and, making sure that the igniter is on, slowly turn the thermostat knob to the right, the main igniter lights up. I set the desired temperature.
At a given temperature (for example, 60 degrees), automation (Kare) turns off the device, then when the set temperature drops, the automation restarts it. Periodically (at different times, about once a week), the boiler stops automatically starting up (the temperature dropped to 17 degrees, and the boiler did not turn on for some reason?
After you turn it off and start it "manually", the boiler works normally, maintains the set temperature again until some time. What needs to be checked, cleaned, blown, changed in order for the boiler to work normally???
Answer:
Check thermostat.
Question:
Boiler Danko, Kare automatics. Sometimes the boiler heats the water to a boil and goes out. And he doesn’t want to switch from the wick to the main torch until you release a little bit from the reducer the tube that goes to the temperature controller. The wick burns, and does not ignite the main burners, and when it boils, it goes out completely. Tell me what to do?
Answer:
The main burners turn off when the set temperature is reached. Causes: contamination of the impulse (connecting) tubes between the membrane valve and the thermostat, jamming of the remote sleeve of the thermostat. When the water temperature reaches 50-90 C, the boiler turns off completely (all): adjust the sensor from boiling, there is no draft in the chimney.
Question:
As soon as I completely clamp the sleeve on the membrane valve, the boiler does not ignite, but as soon as I loosen it a little, it works and poisons the gas a little. What to do?
Answer:
Loosen the screw and remove the handle. Loosen the screws and remove the scale. Unscrew the screws and remove the thermostat cover. Remove the membrane assembly without damaging the membranes. Remove the assembly by the screw securing the valve.
Remove the spacer. Polish the outer surface of the bushing with an emery cloth or a flat file No. 1. Insert bushing into place.
Assemble in the reverse order, so as not to damage the thermostatic membrane-assembly, in the following sequence: insert the screws into the thermostat cover and return the bottom of the cover up, put the membrane assembly on the screws, then carefully insert the thermostat housing onto the screws with threaded holes and tighten the screws. When assembling, do not allow the cover to turn relative to the body.
Question:
Boiler Ross 12-double-circuit. A squeak is heard in the heating circuit (or inside the boiler heat exchanger). Inside the heat exchanger and when it beeps, you can hear it even in the heating system. How to solve a problem?
Answer:
Perhaps a bad duct is creating a whistle. It happens that the rubber gasket narrows. Another squeak occurs due to boiling water in some place (even more precisely, at a point) due to a weak flow (at the same time, the whistle is very similar to the whistle of a kettle before boiling). You can solve the problem only by installing a pump.
Question:
Boiler type Ross 26 NTD. Error E4 began to pop up, it stops heating the water, and unsystematic readings pop up on the temperature display panel. Can you please tell me what is wrong and how to fix it?
Answer:
The turbine does not work - there may not be enough voltage. It is also possible that the thrust pressure switch or the draft sensor may be faulty.
Question:
I have a double-circuit Ross-16 boiler. When starting, the pilot burner burns after the main burners are turned on, after a while, a click is heard and the boiler goes out. What could it be?
Answer:
The thermocouple loses voltage, which goes to the solenoid valve.
Question:
Boiler Ross AOGV-11, on the street -10, while the gas consumption is about 20 cubic meters / day. A private house 80 sq.m. The boiler is at 2, the temperature in the house is about 23 degrees. I thought that the consumption should be less. Or I'm wrong?
Answer:
Gas consumption can be checked as follows: set the maximum on automatic, that is, according to gas meter note the costs for one minute, then multiply the costs per minute by 60. We compare with the technical characteristics of the boiler and see if we fit in or not. Depending on the costs, we either regulate the pressure on the gas valve or not.
Question:
I have a 16kW Ross outdoor boiler. During heating and cooling, a loud knock (click) is heard with a frequency of about 3 seconds, inside at the bottom left, all fasteners are tightened. It may be necessary to adjust the main burner, how should this be done, can it be adjusted while the boiler is running?
Answer:
Perhaps the knock is due to the thermal expansion of the metal of the heat exchanger. Crackling is the result of scale and deposits that have formed.
Question:
Double-circuit Ross boiler 26ntd - E8 pops up. What does it mean, I can not decrypt the error?
Answer:
The DHW sensor does not work.
Question:
Please tell me about the Ross boiler. There is Eurosit 630 automation. The problem is the following: when the main burner is turned off, it does not completely go out, it burns itself slowly. Please tell me is this normal?
Answer:
Quite normal. The main burner goes out when the set temperature is exceeded. Before this, the bellows covers the burner in order to save money and maintain the setpoint.
Question:
Boiler AOGV Dani. Soot constantly appears, they were repeatedly cleaned, everything repeats and the boiler stops working. What to do?
Answer:
Pull out the burner and rinse under high water pressure from the side of the flame - most likely it is clogged with dust inside, and the gas pressure on the burner may also be too high. Well, clean the heat exchanger from soot.
Question:
Boiler Dani AOGV 7.4. The temperature regulator itself raises the temperature. I put on 50, I come next time - about 80. The interval between observations is about a month. Everything was fine before. The boiler is 5 years old. What could it be?
Answer:
What gas valve (temperature regulator) is on the unit? Raises the temperature by itself - does it mean turn the knob? Or does it not hold the set temperature? If the latter is a gas valve with a thermal bulb and a capillary, then first you need to check the performance of this system itself.
This can be done like this:
Remove the bulb from the boiler sleeve.
Take two jars of water, an electric boiler for a glass, a thermometer with a maximum temperature of more than 100 C.
Place the electric boiler for the glass, the thermometer and the thermal bulb in one jar of water. By turning on the boiler and heating the bulb to a certain temperature and then by cooling it (for example, by pulling it out of a jar of heated water and lowering it into a jar of cold water check (repeatedly) how the gas valve will operate.
If it works normally, then you need to check how the contact of the bulb wall with the wall of the glass (where it is inserted) in the boiler is ensured.
It may be necessary to clean the walls of the glass from the inside and pour in a thermally conductive liquid, for example, machine oil, but it is better to apply thermally conductive paste to the bulb, insert it into the glass and wedge it so that the wall of the bulb tightly pressed against the wall of the glass.
Question:
on the Dani 7.4 boiler, the burner with the wick goes out, it feels like the wind is blowing, it can burn for several minutes, or maybe all day, and then fades. Tell me please, what's the matter?
Answer:
Check the nozzle on the pilot burner. If the main burner blows out the wick, then there may still be problems with the exhaust gases from the burner - the passage is clogged or there is little gas at the inlet to the boiler and there is not enough gas for the wick when the main valve opens.
Question:
What thermal interrupter is installed on Dani comfort 18 boilers?
Answer:
His brand is M9.
