The overall dimensions of the strip foundation are 200x300x600 mm, while it must be taken into account that the basement will be connected to the formwork to ensure the solidity of the structure. Now it remains to sum up and calculate the volume of concrete mixture that will be poured into the formwork: 50 (trench length) × 1m (height) × 0.5 (depth) = 25 cubic meters. For such purposes, high-quality concrete is used. One cubic meter of foundation should contain:
- 385 kg of cement,
- 220 liters of water,
- 700 kg of sand,

Practically in any house there are load-bearing walls and interior partitions, and they differ in design features. If it is recommended to use half-brick masonry for load-bearing walls made of foam block, then a quarter will be sufficient for partitions. The side part of the foam concrete block is 200 × 300 = 0.06 meters, the bed is 300 × 600 = 0.18 meters.

Knowing the number of partitions and their height, the area is easily calculated: (8 + 3 + 3) × 2.8 = 39.2 square meters. Now you need to multiply this result by the area of a quarter of a brick and you get 218 stones.

For these purposes, you need to use the length of all the walls and find out how many seams you get, both in the horizontal and vertical directions. The thickness of the adhesive layer is usually 0.005m.
