Free projects of houses and cottages from aerated concrete
This building material is one of the most popular, especially among individual developers. Thanks to its unique properties, it became possible to create and implement almost any projects of aerated concrete houses for relatively little money. This is what will be discussed in this article. But in order to better understand all the advantages of such construction, it is worth noting how attractive such structures are.
As an example, consider several turnkey projects of country houses from aerated concrete blocks, which are offered by specialized organizations.
marburg
There is a pronounced German style in this project; everything is quite simple, rational and at the same time tastefully done. With a total building area of 153 m 2 (living area - 93 m 2), all rooms are located compactly, on 2 floors.
On the 1st there is a rather large living room (30.5 m 2), a dining room combined with a kitchen of 18 m 2, a guest bedroom (9 m 2), a hall (15 m 2) and a bathroom (5 m 2). In addition, in the corner room there is a laundry room and a furnace for 7 m 2 at the same time.
The 2nd floor is reserved for bedrooms for the owners of the house (19 m 2) and children. Children's 2 - for 18 and 16.5 m 2. There is also a separate bathroom (10 m 2) and a hall near the stairs (5 m 2).
A feature of the house are the windows of the original form, and their number provides sufficient lighting even in cloudy weather. There are no balconies, but along the side of the building there is an elegant covered veranda.
As the main material, aerated concrete blocks of the M400 brand (375 mm) were used, for internal partitions - the same products for 150 mm. The base of the house is tape-monolithic, the exterior finish is decorated with decorative plaster composition.
When concluding a contract for the production of work, such projects of cottages and country houses from foam blocks (aerated concrete) are developed by the company completely free of charge.
The approximate cost of building materials is 643,000 rubles.
Stendal
This is a project of a one-story aerated concrete house with an attic floor. On an area of 214.7 m 2 a large family can comfortably accommodate. It is made in the Austrian style and is distinguished by its squat and original roof configuration. Basically, it is semi-hip, with many kinks and transitions from level to level.
The windows are small in width, but rather high, provide good illumination. The material from which the house is built is the same as in the above project. The exterior decoration of the walls was made according to the same principle.
The 1st floor is one common salon, the right side of which is used as a living room (30 m 2), and the left side is used as a kitchen-dining room (12.7 m 2). On the back wall of the building there is a door through which you can go out to the terrace and then to the adjoining plot. In the center of the internal partition (1 half of it is made of glass) there is a passage that connects the premises with the hall (10 m 2), from which you can get into the rooms: for guests (12.1 m 2), a bathroom (3.4 m 2 ), pantry (4.2 m 2). From here, the door leads to a garage for 1 car (18.8 m 2) attached to the house.
There is also a staircase leading to the basement, and a vestibule through which you can go to an external terrace, above which one of the attic rooms (a medium-sized bedroom) is located.
At the 2nd "level" there are as many as 4 of them: by 11; 11.5; 13.5 and 17 m 2. In addition to them, there is a bathroom (4.2 m 2), a bathroom (8.5 m 2) and a hall-corridor in the center of the room (10 m 2), which you get directly from the stairs. It is designed as a 2-span with an observation deck.
The manufacturer also offers a free house project with an aerated concrete garage, but the total cost of materials is higher - within 922,000 rubles.
Konstanz
The same one-story house with an attic. It is quite suitable for a small family, because despite the compact layout, the living area is 60 m 2 (with a total of 147). The walls here are somewhat “thinner” - blocks of 300 mm each, and partition walls - 50 mm each. All the decoration is exactly the same as the previous project, but the layout of the rooms is different.
Climbing up to the facade terrace, you find yourself in a vestibule (4.3 m 2), from which the side door leads to the garage (19.2 m 2), and the central one - to the hall of 4.3 m 2. From this room you can go to the living room, kitchen and bathroom (3.6 m2).
The kitchen-dining room is located in the left front corner of the 1st floor (11.7 m 2), and from it you can also get through the passage into the spacious living room (22.5 m 2), from which there is 1 more exit - to the backyard terrace . In this room, in the corner, there is also a staircase leading to the basement of the house.
In the attic there are 2 bedrooms (9.3 and 17.4 m 2), a bathroom (5.7 m 2) and a small hall (4.3 m 2), which can be accessed directly from the stairs. Adjacent to it through the wall is an attic space that can be used as a storage room.
The purchase of the necessary building materials will cost about 531,000 rubles.
The cost of the work itself depends on many factors. For example, the characteristics of the soil and the complexity of arranging the foundation. With the independent construction of an aerated concrete house, it can be assumed that its 1 m 2 in general will cost from 10,000 rubles.
The order for the development of the necessary documentation is evaluated individually. For relatively small buildings (up to 110 m 2) within 30,000 rubles. For example, for a house project 10x10 2 floors of gas silicate blocks, you will have to pay 25 - 27 thousand rubles.
What to pay attention to when designing
- Accurate calculation of the foundation. Even a slight distortion will lead to the appearance of cracks in aerated concrete.
- The thickness of the wall blocks of the house (depends on the architectural design of the building and the climatic features of the region).
- High-quality strengthening (reinforcement) of all openings (windows, doors).
- The technology of laying floor elements and the materials used.
- Features of installation of "heavy" doors (for example, from metal).
- If it is planned to build a house on 2 floors, then special attention must be paid to the maximum load. The choice of the width of the blocks, as well as the brand of products, depends on this.
These are just some of the points that should not be overlooked.
Features of aerated concrete houses
1. The ability to perform almost all the work independently, without the involvement of specialists, as soon as possible.
- Firstly, aerated concrete (they are also called gas silicate) blocks have strict dimensions declared by the Manufacturer. There are practically no deviations from the dimensions in one direction or another, so any calculations are not difficult.
- Secondly, aerated concrete blocks for building a house are lightweight. This allows not only to do without mechanization (crane, winch), but also significantly save on the arrangement of the foundation, which significantly reduces the cost of work. After all, the cost of its construction can be up to 1/3 of the total estimate.
- Thirdly, gas silicate blocks lend themselves well to processing. Moreover, it is made the simplest tool available in every home, without the use of special devices.
2. The gas block does not shrink, so interior decoration can be carried out immediately after construction is completed, or even carried out parallel to it.
3. The owners of buildings made of aerated concrete blocks note their high performance:
- the low thermal conductivity of the material ensures that heat losses are reduced to a minimum. In addition, the installation technology, which involves simply gluing the blocks to each other with a special compound, does not cause the appearance of “cold bridges”. This allows you to significantly save on heating (according to some estimates, up to 35%), as well as on the use of air conditioners, since inside the building the established humidity and temperature are always maintained;
- no consequences of the negative influence of external factors. Gas silicate blocks do not change their characteristics in case of a critical decrease or increase in their numerical values, as well as in case of their sharp changes. In addition, the material does not react to almost all types of aggressive chemical compounds and is resistant to ultraviolet;
- this allows you to save both on the external decoration of the outer walls (especially since their white color provides the building with sufficient attractiveness), and on routine maintenance and repair.
