What time will the movement of military equipment begin. Military equipment at the victory parade will pass along a clearly defined route. A column of armored vehicles of the Russian Guard will take part in the parade for the first time
The route of movement of military equipment at the Victory Parade in 2018
As in the case of the general rehearsal on May 6, and in the case of the parade itself on the 9th, the route of movement of vehicles, of course, will be the same. And he is already known today.
This time, the gathering place for equipment will not be the usual Khodynka field, as before, but a site on Nizhniye Mnevniki Street. From this site, the equipment will go along the following streets:
Zvenigorod highway,
Garden Ring road,
Tverskaya-Yamskaya street,
Tverskaya street - a stop will be made here, after which the equipment will go to Red Square.
The reverse route of movement of vehicles, of course, is different; it is impossible to deploy a column to pass through the same streets.
Therefore, the equipment can be observed even after it passes through the central square of the country on the following streets of Moscow:
Vasilyevsky Spusk,
Kremlin embankment,
Vozdvizhenka street,
New Arbat,
Garden Ring road,
Zvenigorod highway.
As for aviation, it will assemble for the parade from eight military airfields in eight neighboring regions (in addition to Moscow, these are Tver, Bryansk, Saratov, Kaluga, Voronezh, Lipetsk and Nizhny Novgorod regions).

Victory Parade 2018 in Moscow: official website of the Ministry of Defense about the schemes of Victory parades in Moscow and the regions
The site presents a detailed scheme for the formation of 40 foot ceremonial calculations - participants in the parade. In addition, information is provided on the order of passage of the mechanized column in the form of a diagram and the equipment participating in the parade.
Users will be able to get acquainted with the new products that will be presented this year, including the Terminator tank support combat vehicle, Uran-6 and Uran-9 special robotic systems, Corsair and Katran unmanned aerial vehicles. .
It occupies a separate place detailed diagram dedicated to the aviation part of the parade. It is presented in the form of an interactive "aviation cube".
The website of the Ministry of Defense also has a multimedia section dedicated to parades in other cities of Russia.
Recall that this year the Moscow Victory Parade will receive 75 crews of operational-tactical, long-range, military transport and army aviation. The main surprises of the air part of the parade will be the latest Su-57 fighters, which will appear for the first time over the main square of the country, and the upgraded MiG-31K fighters equipped with the Kinzhal hypersonic missile system.
It should be noted that this night the final night rehearsal of the Victory Parade took place on Red Square. 12.5 thousand people walked across the square, as well as various equipment, including robotic systems.
In Russia, the Great Victory Day is traditionally celebrated with special pomp. Parades and processions are organized in many large cities, flower-laying ceremonies are held, veterans come to schools and universities on the eve of holidays.
Victory Day is one of the most significant annual celebrations in many post-Soviet countries. On this day, residents of the former Soviet republics remember the soldiers and officers who lost their lives or health in a bloody war, but defended the freedom of their country.
The military parade of the Victory this year in Moscow will not be boring
Back in Soviet times, the Victory Parade became a kind of unofficial showcase of the military-industrial complex and an important propaganda tool: it traditionally showed new weapons, on the one hand, reporting on the funds invested in the defense industry, on the other, showing the whole world (and the military attache in the stands) steel muscles Soviet Union.
This is still happening, and often the military is in such a hurry to produce an effect that the equipment is on parade long before it enters the troops.
According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces, Colonel-General Oleg Salyukov, the audience will be presented with Terminator and Tor-M2 tank support combat vehicles, as well as Typhoon-K protected vehicles with a 4x4 wheel arrangement. In addition, May 9 main square countries you can see a special armored vehicle VPK-233136 "Tiger", "Patrol" and "Ural-432009".
Also this year, the number of participants in the walking part of the parade has been increased. As part of 33 calculations, 12.5 thousand soldiers, sergeants and officers will pass. In Alabino near Moscow, preparations are already underway for a large-scale event, NSN reports. More than ten thousand military personnel and a mechanized column of more than 100 units of modern weapons and military equipment, including Boomerang armored personnel carriers, Kurganets-25 infantry fighting vehicles and many others, will take part in the training.
A column of armored vehicles of the Russian Guard will take part in the parade for the first time
The Ministry of Defense has replaced the composition of the participants in the Victory Parade on Red Square. This year, a column of armored vehicles of the Russian Guard will take part in the parade for the first time and will replace the battalion of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The latest weapons of the Russian Federation will be presented on Red Square
On May 9, 2018, according to tradition, the Victory Parade dedicated to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War will be held in Moscow. It will consist of a land and aviation component. In addition to symbolism and tribute to the memory of the participants of the Great Patriotic War, The Victory Parade is also a platform for demonstrating the successes of the military-industrial complex (DIC) of Russia.
This year, the BMPT "Terminator" is of the greatest interest, which is a combat vehicle based on the T-90 tank, but devoid of a 125-mm cannon, instead of which two 30-mm automatic cannons and Ataka anti-tank guided missiles (4 units) are installed, as well as a 7.62 mm machine gun. In this configuration, the combat vehicle was created to participate in urban battles and conduct counter-terrorist operations, although initially, when work on it was carried out back in the USSR, the BMPT was supposed to be used in the same formation with tanks and fight enemy anti-tank weapons. The Terminator has already passed combat tests in Syria and has been ordered by the Russian Ministry of Defense - so far in the amount of 12 units. There are certain hopes for its demand in the global arms market.
At least 12,000 soldiers will be involved in the walking part of the event. Cadets of the Suvorov and Nakhimov military schools, cadets, fighters of the ground forces, the Navy, the Aerospace Forces, the Airborne Forces, representatives of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops and the Federal Security Service of Russia, representatives of the Yunarmiya movement will perform in the ceremonial calculations.
As for new products, in addition to robots, the BMPT “Terminator” tank support combat vehicle will be presented. This 44-ton vehicle is armed with two 2A42 automatic cannons, a Kalashnikov tank machine gun, four containers for guided missiles of the 9M120 family (Ataka complex) and two AG-17D automatic grenade launchers.
Of the modernized samples of domestic equipment, the parade will be attended by:
Anti-aircraft complex based on the tracked all-terrain vehicle "Vityaz" - "Tor M2DT";
Air defense complex "Pantsir-SA". Created on the meringue of the same "Vityaz" for work in the Far North. According to unconfirmed reports equipped with 18 missiles;
Modifications of the T-72 tank - T-72BZ;
Armored cars "Ural-63095" (Typhoon-U) and "KamAZ-63968" (Typhoon-K) with flashing police-style beacons.
Coastal missile systems "Bastion" and "Bal" with anti-ship missiles.
The new modification of the Tor-M2 short-range air defense system is also interesting. Previously, more than old version Tor-M1-2U, and in 2017 the premiere of the Arctic modification "Tor-M2DT" took place. The updated "Thor" got the ability to fire on the move, fire at up to four targets simultaneously at a distance of up to 15 km, in addition, the vehicle's ammunition capacity has doubled - now it is 16 anti-aircraft missiles. In its class, "Tor-M2" has practically no competitors and provides very high level protection for the ground forces, especially if it operates as part of a layered air defense system, which includes medium and long-range air defense systems.
The Victory Parade will begin. More than 120 units of military equipment, 73 units of aircraft, as well as 33 parade crews, that is, 12,000 military personnel, will take part in the parade. The passage of military equipment across Red Square will be opened by the historical T-34, followed by Russian Typhoons and Tigers, T-90A and T-14 Armata tanks, BMP-3 and Kurganets infantry fighting vehicles , armored personnel carriers BTR-82A and Boomerang, strategic missile systems Yars, Iskander and other equipment. Among the "new products" promised are the "Terminator" - a BMPT tank support combat vehicle, an anti-aircraft missile system - "Tor M2", protected vehicles "Typhoon-K" with a 4x4 wheel arrangement, an armored vehicle "Ural432009", an armored corps vehicle "Patrol" .
Mi-8 helicopters will take part in the air parade, which will open the parade formation, Mi-26, Mi-28N, Ka-52, Mi-24P, strategic missile carriers Tu-160, Tu-95 MS, long-range bombers Tu-22 M3, fighters Su-35S, Su-30SM, MiG-29, MiG-31, Su-34 and Su-24M front-line bombers, Su-25 attack aircraft and other vehicles, including air refueling will be shown. In 2018, airplanes will fly at an altitude of 300 to 500 meters, helicopters at an altitude of 150 meters. The speed of aircraft will be in the range of 200-500 km/h.
Unfortunately, ordinary tourists will not be able to see the parade from the center of events - traditionally only war veterans, the leadership of the country and the Ministry of Defense, honored foreign guests, etc. will be allowed to Red Square by special invitation. The parade will be broadcast live on large screens on Tverskaya Street, Pushkinskaya Square and Patriarch's Ponds, but such a broadcast will take place without sound.
But residents of Moscow and tourists of the capital can see live the preparations for the parade, namely, the movement of equipment to Red Square. Unlike recent years, when military equipment was “grouped” at Khodynskoye Pole, now its collection point is Nizhniye Mnevniki Street (accessible, for example, from the Molodyozhnaya, Krylatskoye and Oktyabrskoye Pole metro stations). True, you will have to meet the column at the start around 6 in the morning. Next, the column will proceed along the Zvenigorod highway to the Garden Ring, then turn left onto Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street, which passes into Tverskaya. At the same time, on Tverskaya, the equipment will stop until 10:00 before the final advance to Red Square: the column will stretch from the beginning of Tverskaya Street to the middle of Pushkin Square and even a little further towards Mayakovskaya.
The most convenient option for tourists to admire the parade is from Tverskaya Street. But it is worth considering that here, most likely, there will be largest number spectators, and the metro itself usually only works “to the exit”. Therefore, many people prefer to watch the parade on a different section of the column - away from the center.
If you make a move forward, then there is an opportunity to look at the return passage of equipment when it returns from the parade. This is a route along Vasilyevsky Spusk, through the Kremlin Embankment and further to Vozdvizhenka and Novy Arbat to the Garden Ring. Then the columns will go back exactly along the original path - along the Zvenigorod highway.
As for the air parade, and this is traditionally one of the most exciting spectacles, aircraft will take off from 8 airfields in the Moscow, Tver, Bryansk, Saratov, Kaluga, Voronezh, Lipetsk and Nizhny Novgorod regions. However, the formation of air groups in a single formation will take place in Moscow over Tushino, and then the aircraft will pass "along" Leningradsky Prospekt and Tverskaya Street. It is along these streets that military aircraft will be best seen. Also, a good point for observation is promised at the Belorussky railway station, on Sofiyskaya and Kremlin embankments. It is assumed that the air part of the parade will pass through the capital around 10:20.
After the parade in Moscow, Muscovites and tourists open holiday program- concert programs will be held in all parks of the capital, starting at one in the afternoon. Volunteers of the St. George Ribbon action are also expected in "places of mass congestion of people". From 13:00 at the Dinamo metro station, the gathering of participants in the Immortal Regiment campaign begins, the start of the movement of the regiment along Tverskaya - from 15:00.
Victory Day will end with fireworks at 22:00. The fireworks command control panel is located on the Sparrow Hills - therefore, the observation deck of the Sparrow Hills and the park around are considered one of the favorite places to watch the fireworks. Similarly, tourists "group" on the opposite side, on the Luzhnetskaya embankment.
In addition, you can watch fireworks on Poklonnaya Gora, where there are two fireworks launching points, as well as at VDNKh in the Cosmonautics Park. In total, firework installations will be placed in 16 points of the city, including in the Izmailovo and Kuzminki parks, near the Kursk railway station, on Bolshaya Akademicheskaya, as well as in other areas of Moscow - Nagatino, Otradnoye, South Butovo, in Troitsk, Zelenograd, Mitino, Obruchevo, Solntsevo, in Northern Tushino.
Note that there are "special offers" for tourists - among them, for example, excursions along the Moscow River, with viewing fireworks from the water surface. Also, tourists are invited by the "high-rise" Moscow City, inviting to see "several fireworks at the same time."
PS: It is worth paying the attention of city residents and tourists to the fact that on May 9, during the construction of columns of military equipment and its passage along Tverskaya Street, the exit of passengers from the stations Pushkinskaya, Tverskaya, Chekhovskaya, Mayakovskaya, " Lubyanka" towards Nikolskaya street; from the station "Kitay-gorod" towards the streets of Ilyinka, Varvarka and Kitaygorodsky proezd. In addition, throughout the day on May 9 at the Park Pobedy station, lobby No. 1 (exit to the odd side of Kutuzovsky Prospekt, towards Park Pobedy) will work only for exits, and lobby No. 2 - only for entrance.
After the completion of the festivities, entrance to the stations Ploshchad Revolyutsii, Okhotny Ryad, Aleksandrovsky Sad, Arbatskaya of the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line, Borovitskaya, Lubyanka, Kuznetsky Most, and Kitai-Gorod will also be restricted. ”, “Pushkinskaya”, “Chekhovskaya”, “Tverskaya”, “Park Kultury” of the Sokolnicheskaya and Koltsevaya lines, “Oktyabrskaya” of the Koltsevaya and Kaluga-Rizhskaya lines, “Vorobyovy Gory”, “Universitet” and “Sportivnaya”.
But in other cities of our country there was also something to see. In our selection - what we did not see in the broadcast of the parade on Red Square.
Nizhny Tagil became the only city where the BMPT Terminator-2 tank support combat vehicle passed as part of the parade crew. It is still in service only with the army of Kazakhstan, therefore it was presented by the developer and manufacturer - Uralvagonzavod.
According to representatives of UVZ, a new version of this machine will be created on the basis of a promising one. And this "Terminator" is built on a tank chassis and is armed with two twin launchers of 9 M120-1 guided anti-tank missiles and 9 M120-1F high-explosive fragmentation missiles, two twin 30-mm 2A42 automatic cannons and one 7.62-mm PKTM machine gun.
The vehicle is capable of effectively fighting tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and other armored targets of the enemy, destroying firing structures, as well as hitting infantry using grenade launchers and anti-tank systems.
In, Stavropol and some other cities, one could see the Lynx all-terrain armored vehicles. They are capable of speeds up to 130 km/h, carrying up to three tons of cargo or five people, including the driver. The vehicle's armor can withstand bullets up to 14.5 mm in caliber and is able to survive a mine explosion with a capacity of up to 6.4 kg of TNT.
Coastal missile systems "Redut" of the Baltic Fleet proudly drove along the streets of Kaliningrad. Anti-ship missiles "Reduta" can reach the enemy at a distance of up to 460 kilometers, climbing to a height of up to 7000 meters at a speed of Mach 1.5. "Redoubt" is capable of sending any surface ship to the bottom or inflicting damage on it that is incompatible with maintaining survivability - after all, missiles can be equipped with both high-explosive (1000 kg) and nuclear warheads.
In Sevastopol, the parade crew included the latest coastal missile systems, which were put into service in 2010. They can protect up to 600 km of the coast. Rocket "Bastion" 3 M55 speeds up to 2.6 M (750 m/s).

Air defense equipment ZRPK, ZRK and ZRS passed through Red Square. And in Vladivostok, one could see another military anti-aircraft missile system - which was put into service in 1975. Missiles can be aimed at targets moving at speeds up to 500 meters per second at altitudes up to 10 km.
In Kaliningrad, the Pantsir-S air defense missile system was accompanied by the KamAZ Shot armored vehicle. It is used in versions of a headquarters, patrol, ambulance, border or reconnaissance vehicle.
In St. Petersburg, along the Palace Square, among other equipment, "Urals" with 122-mm D-30 howitzers on a trailer passed.
May 9 has long been a significant day in history Russian Federation. It was on this day in 1945 that Soviet troops won a terrible bloody war over Nazi Germany. It was in 1945 that the first ever Soviet Union military parade of winners.
Since then, the wide celebration of the Victory Day has become a good tradition, and the main center of celebrations is still the capital of our country - the hero city of Moscow. And, first of all, it is famous for its grandiose military parades.
If one fine day you decide to watch a military parade not on the TV screen, but live, congratulations. We made the same decision one day. My friend Alla and I celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory in Moscow. It was a truly unforgettable day! Well, first things first.
I want to warn you right away, you should not even hope to come close to Red Square on Victory Day. The square has been closed to the public since May 1. Only veterans, members of veteran and military societies, heads of state and government, as well as their relatives have a chance to get into the stands. If you fall into at least one category, consider yourself incredibly lucky! 🙂
But what about mere mortals like me? Is there really no way to watch a military parade live? Happy news! Of course, there is such a possibility!
You can watch the entire parade by booking, for example, a room at the National Hotel or the Ritz-Carlton. However, it should be borne in mind that one day in a hotel of this level will cost at least 12 thousand rubles. You can also rent a balcony from local residents for a few hours. Recently, such a service has been very popular among Muscovites, especially on Mokhovaya, from where good review to Red Square.
Unfortunately, you will not be able to see the columns of military personnel anywhere else except for the TV, but everyone has a unique opportunity to watch the passage of military equipment.
At night, all combat vehicles move from the Khodynka field and line up in columns on Tverskaya Street, from where on the morning of May 9 they begin to move towards Red Square. It will not work to get closer to the Belorusskaya metro station. Everything is closed, stations work only for transfers. But if you go up to the "Belarusian" or at the next station "Dynamo" after it, you can take a very comfortable position. It is along Leningradsky Prospekt that columns of bombers and fighters fly to the parade, and here combat vehicles return to Khodynskoye Field.
Our unforgettable impressions of the parade of military equipment on May 9 in Moscow
We arrived in Moscow early in the morning. The parade officially starts at 10:00. First, official speeches are heard, columns of military personnel go, then the movement of combat vehicles begins, and at the very end aviation flies by.
The clock was about seven in the morning. Without thinking twice, we headed to the Dinamo metro station in the hope of getting a comfortable position for viewing early. People have already begun to gather.
A fairly large group gathered on the opposite side near house number 33, where the road from Leningradsky Prospekt turns into 1st Botkinsky Proezd. The locals know it! We did not regret at all that we immediately crossed to the opposite side. Of course, the trolleybus wires overhead and the lamppost nearby were a great inconvenience, but there were already few empty seats in the front rows.
All the clouds over the city dispersed. The bright May sun baked their heads. Every minute there were more and more people on our side.
Traffic along Leningradka towards Red Square was blocked from the very morning. On the opposite side of the road transport continued to go. Police and military units were on duty everywhere, cars were brought in to clean the streets.
Around 9 am, real chaos began. The people standing on the opposite side, realizing that they were separated from the combat vehicles by as many as two highways, began frantically jumping out over the fencing parapets onto the road, right under the cars passing by. They jumped themselves, threw their little children onto the roadway. Just awful! The assembled police tried their best to push the insane off the roadway. True, having dispersed the first crowd, a second one immediately appeared. No calls to remain calm and civilized, as well as to use the underground pedestrian crossing, did not work. As a result, in order to avoid an emergency, traffic along the entire Leningradsky Prospekt was briefly blocked.
The most active observers began to storm the watering machines, climbed into the cab, onto the body, lay down directly on the asphalt under the wheels. The crowd from our side also tried to break through to the very protective tape. Mothers pushed their little children almost onto the roadway so that they could see better. The persuasion of the policemen to remove the children away from the military vehicles ended in nothing. As a result, at least it was possible to convince them to wear antimicrobial masks on the kids, protecting them from fuel oil and dust.
It's been 3 hours. People kept coming, and there was no way to move.
10:00 the opening of the parade and the beginning of the official ceremony, we watched on smartphones gathered nearby. 10:20. The tension is rising. Someone sings military songs and waves the Russian flag, someone checks the charge of the batteries on the camera, and someone just talks to the neighbors.
At 10:40, shouts of “Hurray!” are heard from the Khodynka field. Aerobatic teams appear in the sky. Everyone is looking up. Groups of helicopters, planes, bombers are flying right overhead. Everyone is chanting: “Hurrah! Russia!"
Another 10 minutes and shouts are heard in the crowd: “Tanks are coming!”. Camera flashes click non-stop. Everyone is afraid of missing something. Heaven, earth... All the fighting power of Russia is here and you are standing in its center! It's just an unforgettable experience!
Armored car "Tiger"
Howitzers, tanks, anti-aircraft guns... 194 unique pieces of the latest technology. Bombers and fighters replace each other in the sky.
The newest tank T-14 "Armata"
The famous Cuban diamond of the aerobatic teams "Russian Knights" and "Swifts" flies in orderly rows. And behind it, 15 aircraft form the memorable number 70.
Behind light vehicles, heavy anti-aircraft missile systems Tor, Triumf, Yars begin to pass right in front of their noses ... It seemed that asphalt was melting under their wheels. Heavy fighting vehicles with a roar doused everyone with black oil dust. The servicemen driving the tanks greeted the spectators, and the spectators greeted them. Colossal unity of the people was felt everywhere!
By 12 o'clock the real extravaganza was over. The military parade is an unforgettable sight! For the sake of it, it is worth traveling thousands of kilometers and standing under the scorching rays of the sun for 3, 4 and even 5 hours. Even if you are not a fan of military equipment, you will remember this power forever!
The parade is over, what next?
After the parade in Moscow, a lot of colorful memorable events are organized. Every year they are different and find out which ones will be best this year in official sources. After the parade, we decided to go for a walk at VDNKh. 40 minutes down the subway, just a sea of people. Participants of the action "Immortal Regiment" went down to the metro with us. From portraits, here and there, very young boys and girls, and wrinkled front-line soldiers in jackets heavy from medals, looked at you. Their presence among us on this day was felt especially keenly. An endless human sea of those who, at the cost of their lives, gave life to each of us... If you have a photo of a front-line soldier from your family, you can also join the action and march in a single formation with millions of Muscovites.
Action of memory "Immortal Regiment"
Even simple walk the city will bring a lot of pleasure. Moscow is changing on Victory Day. Retro cars drive through the streets, songs of the war years are heard everywhere, Muscovites are constantly immersed in their problems, becoming sweet and sociable. Everyone congratulates each other, gives each other flowers, flags, St. George ribbons. Special attention given to all older people.
Fireworks
The celebration of Victory Day ends with colorful fireworks. The sky above the city is illuminated by multi-colored volleys. The most striking performance can be seen on Poklonnaya Hill or from the observation deck of Sparrow Hills. Places should also be taken in advance, because there are a lot of people who want to see. I was lucky to find tickets on board the ship. If you also want to take a river trip on this amazing night, take care of buying tickets in advance. Already in February, they fly like hot cakes. Excellent service for booking river walks http://rivertickets.ru/.
We watched the fireworks at the Sparrow Hills from the board of the motor ship Alina Bravo. It can still be cool on the water in May, so I advise you to dress warmly. And the walk, and the salute itself, like everything else on that day, was simply unforgettable! What can I say, see for yourself!
The celebration of Victory Day is a bright and memorable event. This is a holiday of fortitude, fighting power and amazing unity of the nation. In my humble opinion, this is the main holiday of the year. Do not miss the chance to spend it in the main city of Russia - Moscow. And if you have children, be sure to bring them with you. Believe me, you and your family will remember this event for a long time!
Getting to Moscow is not difficult. There are direct flights from almost all Russian airports. Tickets can be bought. Are you afraid to fly? No problem, you can take the train. Here is an excellent service for finding train tickets.
