How to make outdoor tiles at home. Paving slabs with their own hands. How to make video at home. Production of original paving slabs "pine cut" in polyurethane form
Now it has become very fashionable to lay out paths and recreation areas with paving slabs, however, not everyone is able to purchase ready-made material due to its high cost. It is possible to make this finishing material on one's own. In addition, it is possible to make tiles according to your personal requests and needs.
Making pavement tiles with your own hands has many advantages, since the finished product: has original design, can be absolutely any color, strong enough and hardy. The production of pavement tiles is considered to be quite a complex and time-consuming process, especially given the lack of experience in its manufacture. In addition to preparing molds and tools, it is important to correctly calculate the proportions of the solution for pouring.
There are only two types of manufacturing of these products, namely, vibrocompression and vibrocasting.
The manufacture of tiles by vibrocompression involves the use of a thick cement mixture with the addition of a large number water. The manufacture of tiles by vibropressing implies the preparation of a mixture in a vibropress. For home-made tiles, the vibrocasting method is most suitable. To produce tiles using this method, you will need a concrete mixer, a vibrating table and molds for casting.
Paving slabs are considered just an ideal option for arranging summer cottages and country house. Its affordable cost and ease of installation make this material ideal for creating beautiful and comfortable walking paths. This coating has long been considered one of the most beautiful and durable. However, due to the high cost of the finished tile, not many people decide to purchase it. To ennoble your summer cottage or country house, you can make tiles yourself. To make a tile yourself, you first need to prepare the mixture, observing all the required proportions. The recipe for the mixture is quite simple, however, you definitely need to know which components to add and what proportions should be.
To make a mixture you need to take:
- Astringent components;
- Water;
- placeholders;
- Special additives;
- Dye.
Cement is used as a binder. The brand of cement is selected depending on the degree of compressive strength of the component. It is best that the brand of cement is M500. The aggregate can be sand and gravel, or just clean sand is used.
As special additives, a plasticizer or dispersant is used. These mineral supplements must be used, as they increase frost resistance and give products greater strength. In addition, they increase the elasticity of the finished tile and give its surface a beautiful glossy sheen.
In the production of tiles, a dye is definitely needed, since with its proper use, the durability and attractiveness of the finished product increases. As a percentage, the amount of dyes used should be no more than 4-5% of total weight concrete mix.
The dyes used should preferably be lightfast, resistant to adverse weather conditions, and insoluble in water. When preparing a concrete mix, it is imperative to distribute the dye evenly. The recipe for preparing a mixture for tiles varies depending on the requirements for the resulting product.
The optimal composition of the mortar for paving slabs
When making tiles on your own, it is important not only to make the product correctly, but also to determine the composition of the solution, which is often quite difficult to do. When preparing a solution, factors such as the type of raw materials used, as well as the conditions for pouring and drying products, must be taken into account. Before you start making tiles, you need to prepare the ingredients, a vibrating table with a perfectly flat surface and shape.
Sand-cement mixture is made from such components as:
- Cement brand M500 white;
- Fine river sand;
- Granite crushed stone fraction 3-5 mm or screenings;
- Water;
- Liquid dye;
- plasticizer;
- Dispersant.
The technology for preparing the mixture is quite simple. Initially, you need to mix the sand well with cement and the prepared plasticizer, and then add crushed stone, which, if desired, can be replaced with screenings. At the very end, in small portions, you need to pour in the liquid. The consistency of the resulting mortar should be strong enough so that it can be easily held on the trowel, however, the mixture should not crumble or crack when lightly tapped on the mold. The consumption of components largely depends on the required characteristics of the finished product, which is why it is calculated separately. Important! Subject to all the required conditions, you can get high quality paving slabs, which will be distinguished by high strength and durability.
How to make paving slabs at home
The most demanded element for paving tracks in country house or in a summer cottage, central squares and streets of cities, paving slabs or curly paving elements are considered.
The main advantages of FEM are:
- Ease of manufacture;
- Attractive appearance;
- Ease of installation.
The manufacturing technology of the tiles implies that after preparing the mixture, it must be poured into molds located on the vibrating table. Before pouring the mixture, the molds must be lubricated with an oil. The vibration process lasts only a few minutes and its duration depends on the thickness of the tiles.
Excess concrete must be removed with a spatula, and if the mixture sinks heavily in the molds, then you need to add concrete mortar and continue vibrating.
The surface of the mortar is then smoothed out and then the filled molds are transferred to pallets. Depending on the air temperature and size, it is necessary to dry the tiles for 2 to 4 days in a special drying chamber. At the same time, it is necessary to maintain a certain humidity and air temperature. After drying, the molds are placed in an evaporating bath. When carrying out heat-steam treatment, it is necessary to set soft curing modes and the temperature should not exceed 70 ° C. The removal of finished products is carried out on a special table or manually. It is worth remembering that maximum strength occurs only after 28 days.
Do-it-yourself plasticizer for paving slabs
Now there are many options paving slabs, thanks to the use of special forms in its manufacture and dyes different colors. Many people prefer to make tiles on their own, but you need to know how many components to take in its production. In addition to the main components, plasticizers are also used.
These substances help:
- Improve the quality of manufactured products;
- Simplify the process of forming tiles;
- Improve the look of the finished product.
In the production of tiles, the plasticizer must be prepared in advance. To do this, dry plasticizer is poured into water heated to 40 ° C in a ratio of 1: 2. Then for 15 minutes the mixture must be mixed using a mixer nozzle. When the solution is ready, it must be left for a while. It is best to prepare the plasticizer in the evening, and in the morning it will only need to be mixed for 15 minutes.
Production of paving slabs (video)
To make the product durable and resistant to negative atmospheric conditions, it is imperative to comply with all the required conditions for the manufacture of tiles and use only high-quality materials.
Planning arrangement garden paths on his personal plot, you always want to create functional and at the same time beautiful elements landscape design. Wooden saw cuts, natural stone, gravel can serve as material for garden paths ... But still, paving slabs, which have an attractive appearance and excellent quality features. Do-it-yourself paving slabs will become an original addition to the design of the site, in harmony with the style of the house and garden.
The production of paving slabs with your own hands is a rather laborious and rather long, but at the same time quite an exciting process. The result of the work is exclusive products, successfully combined into picturesque paths.
Interesting ideas for decorating garden paths can be found in the material:
Such unusual paths serve as a worthy frame for flowering plants garden
In addition, making paving slabs with your own hands will significantly save money in the family budget, because the purchase of a finished coating is many times more expensive.
Homemade tiles may not be suitable for covering areas that are designed to accommodate heavy structures or vehicles, but they will be an excellent solution for walking paths in the garden. At proper manufacture concrete mixture and exposure to all stages of production technology, you can get a product with 100% durability.
Using colors and pigment dyes, you can create tiles of various shades.
By experimenting and coloring solutions with colorants, you can get incredible combinations and patterns. Himself is an interesting activity that allows you to unleash your creative potential, bringing a lot of pleasure and positive.
Manufacturing process step by step
In order to make the original paving slabs with your own hands, you first need to purchase the material of manufacture and stock up essential tool. The tile is created on the basis of a mixture of cement, sand and water with maintaining proportions that depend on the purpose of the product and the brand of cement used. For the manufacture of durable garden paving slabs, it is advisable to use cement grade M 500. It is not worth saving on the quality of the material, so as not to stumble on a crumbling path later.
Sand and mortar water must be free of dirt and leaves. It is not scary if small pebbles are present in the composition of the sand. Their presence will not affect the quality of the concrete. But the product will acquire an unusual texture.
Advice! With the help of plasticizers, it is possible to increase the strength of paving slabs and its resistance to temperature changes.
A wide range of plastic molds for pouring are available in specialized stores. They can have completely different shapes and sizes. Each of them is designed for 200 fills. To speed up the manufacturing process, it is advisable to purchase ten pieces of each type of shape.
Combining 2-3 product configurations, you can create unusual ornaments and fancy "snakes"
It is also possible to use plastic containers as molds for food products, which have sufficient flexibility, softness and strength. Using containers of simple shapes with even sides and right angles, you can make rectangular "bricks".
These tiles are easy to fit together when laying.
Solution preparation
The necessary components are ready, we can safely start making exclusive paving slabs with our own hands. You can mix the sand-cement mixture both manually and with the help of a perforator with a mixer attachment. When planning to create coatings amounting to several tens or even hundreds of tiles, it is advisable to stock up on a concrete mixer to facilitate the process. It’s great if it is already in the owner’s arsenal. After all, such construction equipment can be used for many purposes, from concreting a stream bed in a garden to repairing fence posts.
In a container, which can be used as a basin or bucket, 1 part of cement and 3 parts of sand are poured
When kneading the solution in a concrete mixer to obtain a homogeneous mass, you first need to pour sand, and then cement is poured into a continuously rotating container.
Add water to the mixture gradually, without ceasing to mix the solution. Exceeding the amount of water in the solution can lead to a decrease in the strength of the finished concrete. To prevent this, water-repellent additives and reinforcing fiber are added to the solution during mixing and pouring.
The consistency of the solution should be pasty: a little liquid, but not slipping off the trowel
It is possible to paint tiles in the most unusual colors with the help of inorganic pigments, which have increased resistance to light and atmospheric phenomena, as well as an alkaline environment. The amount of dye for the solution is selected by the "sampling method", starting from 30-50 g and gradually increasing the proportion. The composition acquires a uniform color after 5-7 minutes. The readiness of the composition is determined by the absence of lumps and uniform coloring of the entire volume of the material.
Filling in forms
Before pouring the form, it is advisable to lubricate with emulsol or any oil (you can even use used machine oil). This will subsequently facilitate the disassembly of the frozen product.
Forms are poured with mortar and tamped with a trowel
You can increase the strength of the product by laying a metal mesh, rod or wire into the half-filled form with concrete, and then supplementing it with the remaining solution to the brim.
In order to compact the cement mass and expel excess air bubbles from the solution, it is necessary to create concrete vibration. For these purposes, a vibrating table is used. In the absence of such a design, a rack or shelf can serve as an alternative to it. To create vibration, it is enough to perform several taps on the table with a mallet.
Drying and removal of products from containers
Forms filled with concrete are covered with plastic wrap and aged for 2-3 days. During this period, it is important to maintain a sufficient level of moisture. To do this, it is advisable to periodically moisten the hardening products.
The place where the blanks dry should be hidden from direct sunlight.
After 2-3 days after casting, the tiles can be unmolded by slightly moving the sides and shaking. Dry the product in the shade for another 3-4 weeks. During this time, the tile will acquire sufficient strength, and it can be used as a covering for garden paths and recreation areas.
The most popular material for creating paths in the garden today is paving slabs. She may be the most different forms and shades, it is convenient when creating simple and intricate patterns, which is why the owners of suburban areas like it so much.
But not everyone can afford high-quality paving slabs. But making it at home is much cheaper. If you follow the instructions and technology, paved walking paths will last for many years.
Making paving slabs with your own hands is not an easy task. But the manufacturing process is a creative and exciting activity that gives a lot of pleasant impressions.
What do you need to make tiles?
The main thing you need to create paving slabs with your own hands is:
- sand;
- water;
- forms.
Experienced craftsmen for self-manufacturing tiles at home are advised to take cement brand M500. Products from it are more durable.
Sand should be sifted: it should not contain leaves, grass and other debris. If you buy sand in a store, it is better to take 04,-0.6 mm fractions. Water for the preparation of the solution must also be clean.
Although each form homemade tiles from cement can be used more than a hundred times, it is worth buying a dozen or more so that the work goes faster.
You can make paving slabs with the help of improvised means. To do this, they often use plastic containers, home-made forms from wooden bars, and so on. Nobody limits your imagination. To give a pattern and relief, you can also use all your imagination - the owners of garden plots use any materials for a pattern on a tile: relief figures and even tree leaves.
Other necessary materials and tools:
- Hammer drill with mixing attachment or
- vibrating table (optional)
- bucket or other large mixing container
- fine crushed stone fraction up to 1 cm or screenings
- Plasticizer C-3 (preferably, to give greater strength)
- clean glass containers
- measuring cup
- lubricant (emulsol, OPL-1, SVA-3 and other lubricants without petroleum products)
- brine (brine) for mold washing
The proportions of the mortar for the manufacture of paving slabs
To make paving slabs, there are dozens of recipes. However, one of them has gained the most popularity. Note that this mortar recipe is only suitable for gray tiles (without the addition of dyes).
Required proportions for the manufacture of paving slabs:
- Cement - 25%
- Sand - 20%
- Crushed stone - 55%
- Plasticizer C-3 - at the rate of 10 g per 10 kg
Approximately 15 liters of water will be needed for 80 kg of solution. But it is better to focus on the consistency, pouring water gradually.
And for colored tiles, you can use this recipe:
- Cement - 20 kg
- Sand - 35 kg
- Crushed stone - 35 kg
- Plasticizer - 70 g
- Inorganic dye - 500 grams
To make paving slabs of the desired shade, there is one secret. The bottom line is to experiment with the amount of pigment in a small volume of solution and remember the proportions.
Making paving slabs with your own hands: step by step instructions
- When stirring the solution, do not pour a lot of water at once! If the solution is too thin, this is bad for the strength of the final product.
- Some owners of suburban areas put forms with slabs immediately on the path and leave to dry right on the spot. This option is also appropriate if there are no animals in your garden that can spoil the texture of future paving stones. In addition, the path in this case will have to be reliably protected from rain so that the tiles do not get wet.
- You can make paving slabs with your own hands without the use of a plasticizer. However, this component will give the tile greater strength and increase resistance to temperature changes.
- Do not be afraid if small stones come across in the sand. The quality of the plate will not decrease from this, but the texture will be more original.
- For more quality styling paving slabs, the surface should be tamped, for this you can buy a vibrating plate or vibrotamper, and as a cheap analogue, you can use a beam, having previously attached handles to it.
The abundance of shapes and colors of decorative cement paving slabs will allow you to turn your garden into a real masterpiece. This is exactly the case when the work is worth the result. Do-it-yourself tiles for garden paths not only look beautiful - they will give comfortable walks around the site even in the rainiest weather!
The technology for the production of paving slabs with their own hands has been mastered for a long time and every year everything is being improved. Finished products in terms of their characteristics and quality are in no way inferior to store-bought products, and sometimes even surpass them. So why overpay a considerable amount of money for a pig in a poke when you can make solid paving slabs at home. This does not require the purchase of expensive equipment and tools, of course, if you do not want to produce it on an industrial scale. The key to high-quality paving stones is the “correct” solution and skillful hands.
Paving slab production technology
Despite the simplicity of the production technology, there are some nuances that should be studied before proceeding with the manufacture of tiles on their own. First of all, you need to choose and master the method of its manufacture that suits you.
Vibrocast paving slabs
This technology for the production of tiles provides for a continuously operating vibrating table, on which the sand-cement mixture hardens, laid in special forms.
After full compaction and hardening of the mixture, the molds are transferred to a warm place where they must stand for at least 12 hours.
The finished product is even and smooth. Such tiles are easy to clean from snow and sand. It has a bright, saturated color, and the form of its manufacture is practically unlimited.
For paving paths, it can embody any design idea on your site. Qualitatively laid out tiles can give an accent to any of your buildings on the site, especially since this is an excellent solution to get away from annoying asphalt.
From an industrial point of view, the production of vibrocast paving slabs is a fairly cheap process, perfectly suited for private use.
Vibropressed paving slabs
The manufacturing technology of vibropressed paving slabs is as follows.
- The concrete mixture is laid on a continuously vibrating frame in a special form (matrix).
- Then, a special blank (punch) made in the form of a matrix high pressure, like a piston, begins to put pressure on the mixture.
- After complete compaction, the die and punch rise up, and the finished product remains on the bed. This method is fully automated and requires minimal human intervention.
The surface of the product is rough and porous. Such tiles are able to withstand heavy loads, are resistant to severe frosts, and are suitable for crowded places and vehicle traffic.
Despite the fact that there are compact units allowing to place such equipment on a home site, their cost is still high.
Based on the foregoing, we can conclude that for private needs, vibrocast paving slabs will be quite enough.
There is no need to be able to withstand heavy loads, since neither crowds of tourists nor vehicles will move along it. Therefore, in this article we will consider the manufacture of paving slabs using vibrocasting technology.
Paving slab manufacturing technologies
The expediency of buying equipment or renting it depends on the scale of the planned production.
If you need to tile small areas of your site, it makes sense to take necessary equipment for rent, but if grandiose work is to be done on laying paved paths, blind areas, various sites, then it makes sense to think about acquiring it. In a word, it's up to each of you.
Necessary equipment for work
It is very difficult to manually bring the concrete mixture to the desired consistency. An alternative would be a powerful drill with special nozzle for mixing the solution.
However, it is undesirable to work with such a tool for a long time, periodically you need to give it time to rest from the load. An ideal option would be a time-tested electric concrete mixer.
The main element of production without which you can not do. To date, you can buy a vibrating table in any store specializing in the sale of construction equipment.
Their initial price starts from $300. But do not rush, it is very simple from improvised materials. To do this, you will need (an electric motor, a sheet of metal, corners, metal plates and springs).
Local kulibins manage to use an ordinary washing machine for these purposes, setting it to high spin speeds.
Mix molds. You can also make the necessary forms using the material that almost everyone has on the site (plywood, metal plates, gypsum, and so on).
Options for making molds for paving slabs
You can purchase ready-made forms on any construction market, their price is not very high, so this will not significantly affect the budget.
DIY vibrating table
We will describe in stages the manufacture of a vibrating table for future forms. The main task is to get a flat surface of the upper platform. Required material and the tool you need:
- vibration motor;
- Sheet of metal with a thickness of 5 mm. (upper platform);
- metal corner or profile pipe(framework);
- Springs (damping);
- Welding machine, electrodes and grinder.
frame
We weld a conventional frame from metal corners or pipes suitable sizes. It is important to ensure that opposite pipes are the same size.
Using the same material, a rectangle is welded. On one side, a sheet of metal is welded onto it, on the other, a reinforced platform for a vibration motor with slots for fastening.
vibration motor
For vibrating tables, it is better to use a platform-type vibration motor. It is installed on a prepared base and firmly clamped with bolts.
Installation
The final step is to connect the platform with the frame, after inserting the springs into the landing bowls between them. The table is ready for use.
The composition of the mortar for paving slabs
The composition of the mortar for the manufacture of paving slabs must contain the following components:
- Cement M-500;
- Seeded river sand;
- Crushed stone (fractions not more than 10 mm);
- fiberglass;
- plasticizer;
- Concrete dye (optional)
- Pure water without impurities.
It should be crumbly without the content of lumps and impurities. Remember that cement is a binder, so the strength of the tile will depend on its quality.
Sand like cement, it should not contain foreign impurities such as clay or algae. There is an easy way to test sand for clay content.
The sand must be tightly squeezed into a ball with the hands, fixed for a few seconds and unclenched, look after its condition. If the sand does not crumble, a clear sign of the presence of clay components in it.
Crushed stone is desirable to acquire a fraction 5-10 mm.
fiberglass performs the role of concrete reinforcement. The most common fiber material is polypropylene. It will not be difficult to purchase this component on the construction market.
The component that gives concrete strength and moisture resistance is - plasticizer. Pigment dye is used as needed.
Important! When mixing all of the above components, a strict dosage and sequence must be observed.
The ratio of components in solution
Components | Proportions in % | For 1 m² tiles | For 1 m³ tiles |
Cement (M 500) | 20% | 28 kg. | 490 kg. |
Crushed stone (fractions 5-10 mm.) | 22% | 30 kg. | 520 kg. |
river sand | 55% | 73 kg. | 1300 kg. |
plasticizer | 0.5% by weight of the solution | 45 gr. | 1.7 liters |
Dye (pigment) | 7% by weight of the solution | 650 gr. | 9 kg. |
fiberglass | 0.04 by weight of the solution | 55 gr. | 0.8 kg. |
Water | 6% by weight of the solution | 8.5 liters | 135 liters |
How to mix the solution correctly
We mix the mortar for paving slabs in the following sequence:
- In a drum with a small amount of water (1-1.5 buckets), add a plasticizer and dye;
- We start the concrete mixer and stir the added components for one minute. From now on, the mixer should work continuously until the solution is completely mixed;
- Then, observing the above proportions, cement is added in turn, and then sand and crushed stone.
- Carefully monitor the consistency of the solution in the drum. The solution should turn out to be viscous, but in no case liquid.
- The final step will be the addition of fiber to the finished solution. Stir for another 2-3 minutes. The solution is ready.
Casting and vibration processing
- In pre-lubricated (soapy or oil solution) forms exposed on the site of the vibrating table, the solution is poured.
- The vibration treatment process must be carefully controlled. As soon as foam forms on the surface, this is a signal that the degassing of the liquid is completed and the machine can be turned off.
This process usually takes 4-5 minutes. It is impossible to overexpose the solution on the bed, the process of its stratification will begin.
Some people wonder why the vibration treatment of the solution is needed, why it is simply impossible to pour the finished mixture into molds.
The answer to this question lies in the tiny air bubbles that are in the hardened concrete. In severe frosts, they contribute to the splitting of paving slabs.
Drying and stripping molds
In summer, drying of castings should last at least 24 hours, in cool weather at least 2 days. In order for the tile to come out of the mold more easily, it should be immersed in a container with hot water for 10-15 seconds. The molds are well washed with water and they are ready for work again.
Important! It is not recommended to put freshly cast tiles into work immediately. To gain strength, it must be kept outdoors under the sun for another week. Only after that the paving slabs are ready for use.
If you have decided to make paving slabs with your own hands, then we hope that this article will be a good help and help in your work.
In most cases, homeowners often try to plan in advance the arrangement of paths in their summer cottage. Many try to produce at the same time a large number of plausible elements related to landscape design.
In all cases, the material that is used to build the tracks has importance. In this case, natural stones and wooden saw cuts and many other elements are used. But for this purpose it is more practical paving slabs. She has a wonderful appearance. Tiled materials have good indicators of durability and quality.
Elements of paving slabs, which are produced in-house, in fact, become original additions to the design of garden plots. In this case, they also harmonize well with the house or its style.
Creation building materials is considered to be a very laborious and rather long process. But, if you look at all the work in a different way, then this process is more interesting. Today, paving slabs are considered an exclusive product, successfully combined with picturesque paths. It is worth noting that creating tiles on your own allows you to significantly save finances, which is important today.
For comparison, we can say that the purchase of finished tiled elements will cost many times more than the independent production of the same material. Do-it-yourself products may not be suitable for the design of sites that are designed to accommodate more massive equipment, but they will perfectly decorate paths and sidewalks.
Such material becomes very good decision for any ideas. If the concrete mixture is done correctly, then the material will be better. In this case, better quality tiles are obtained.
Regarding the process of preparing elements and decorating garden paths, this can be a pretty good activity. It allows you to open the creative potentials of the owners.
At the time of laying, and even after it, you can get a lot of good emotions.
How to make tiles when decorating plots in the garden: everything in order
Choice of tools and materials for cooking paving slabs- This is a difficult task that should be completed before all work begins. A kind of paving stone is created on the basis of dry mixes, where there is: sand, water and cement.
An important factor is the exposure of proportionality, which seriously depends on the purpose of the materials. It is worth noting that for the preparation of durable tiles, cement powder with a grade of m 500 is used. It is not recommended to save on cement.
If we talk about such significant components as sand and water, which will be used for the manufacture of mixtures, then they must be cleaned of debris. If suddenly there is a small amount of solid particles in the sand, excluding wood, then the solution will not suffer from their presence.
Plastic blanks that are used to make tiles can be bought at construction equipment sales points. The shape or size can change in different directions.
It is worth knowing that molds for pouring are often calculated for 250-300 fills. To speed up such a process, it is necessary to apply not one form, but ten or more.
Sometimes they resort to the use of molds taken from food storage packages. They can also be quite good with enough flexibility and elasticity. With the help of similar tiles, you can quite simply make good products.
How to prepare a concrete composition
If everything that was mentioned above is already there, then you can safely start making attractive tiles to decorate garden plots. Mixing can be done with a mixer or concrete mixer.
For your information, when the volume of water slightly exceeds the allowable value, this can reduce the strength of concrete. To prevent this, moisture-repellent additives, as well as reinforcing fiber, are added to the composition of the solution.
Painting of tile materials in the most unusual colors is carried out using selected pigments. They are vibration resistant temperature regime. With regard to the influence of an alkaline environment, these pigments can maintain the desired qualities under any conditions.
In any case, when adding dyes to the composition, it is necessary to achieve a more homogeneous solution. It is worth remembering the proportionality of the dye and the concrete mix.
How to pour the solution into silicone molds
Before pouring mixtures into molds, they will need to be coated with a special composition. This prevents the solution from sticking to the mold walls. Oil mixed with water works great as a lubricant.
In most cases, automotive grease, simple working out, can work well for this. In this situation, the process of unpacking already finished products is facilitated.
In order to increase the strength of products, it is possible to lay metal mesh in almost 50% filled forms. They can be placed and fittings or wire.
After the reinforcement, it is recommended to add the remaining mortar into the mold. To compact and remove a large number of bubbles that are in the mixture, it is used practical device, such as a vibrating table. If this device is not available, then shelves or racks are used as an alternative. Tiles are laid on them and with the help of a hammer, several blows are applied to the racks.
How is the product dried?
The composition in the forms should be closed with a film made from polyethylene. All this will need to be left for the right time.
You need to check the tile for readiness by the appearance of dew on the inside of the film. It is worth noting that it is recommended to maintain an appropriate level of humidity by periodically wetting the tiles with water. This is done over several days.
It is advised to dry the tiles not under the influence of the sun, but simply in the shade. As for the drying period, it lasts about 15-20 days.
